What is an RSS Feed & what does an RSS Feed Do?

RSS Short for Really Simple Syndication but what does it mean?

Well I think the best way to explain this is instead of you going out looking for information on the Internet, when you subscribe to an RSS feed it will come to you.

You can subscribe to an RSS feed with email or an RSS Reader. Email is simpler, as you just subscribe & confirm you want to get the information & everytime the web site updates with New Content then you will get an email.

if you want to subscribe via an RSS feed reader then you will need an RSS reader. You can use an RSS Google reader or many online RSS reader services exsist.

For instance say you want to subscribe to my Blog via RSS feed for all the latest blog updates (Hint, it’s a very Good Idea if you want to learn all about Internet Marketing & Making Money Online) then you would be very wise to subscribe to my RSS Blog feed above by clicking the Subscribe via Email | RSS in my banner above & follow the simple instructions.

What happens then is every time I update my Blog like with this post all my RSS Blog Subscribers will automatically get an email or a web feed with the update.

This is the New way & BEST way to get information delivered to you FAST.

Yes in this day & age time is money, why would you want to go out of your way to go to all your favorite web sites one by one to get the latest info when they can deliver it to you?

Can you see how RSS feeds now works?

So lets say you want to get all latest information from my Blog, the BBC web site, the weather web site, the CNN news web site & so on & so on.

Well the old & SLOW way is to manualy go to all these web sties one by one. Which takes LOTS of time & you have to remember to go to them all to get all the latest information.

Well the NEW, smart & clever way would be to subscribe to ALL your favorite websites via RSS feeds! That way all the info & latest news you want is delivered to you. Much faster & easier!

Hopefully this is begining to make sense.
